For Touch of Paradise Jeroen Huisman prepared a Polaroid 636 camera for the harsh, dark and cold environment to be expected in Cucosa. This Prepared Polaroid consisted of a felt body, a special lens and LED lights on flexible wires. These preparations should give enough possibilities to work in ''dark'ndusty'' places. With a working temp of about 7 degres celsius, a rather moist atmosphere and lots of very dark corners, the installation was indeed harsh!

Huisman used the Prepared Polaroid camera to mix his own impressions with the installation itself. The little square polaroid attachements were randomly spread over the installation and became part of it, attached to thin wire.

During the performance Huismans role as photographer extended into an overall installation guide, trying to get the public into the darkest and scariest areas of the installation with the help of the prepared polaroid LED lights. In his best Russian Jeroen Huisman tried to override the public to throw rocks into the darkest hole of the Cucosa scenery. Most of them did, some even spoke Russian too!

The PX 600 silvershade film of Impossible Project gave a rough sketch of the whole happening, but reacted chemically unexpected... About 100 polaroids were taken.
